Loy Krathong Celebration 2024

🎊️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘆 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 is coming soon!
This festival has its roots in an ancient Brahmin ceremony that honored the spirits of water. In Thailand, the festival evolved to include the veneration of Buddha. The word ‘krathong‘ refers to a small vessel or basket, while ‘loy‘ signifies floating. The act of placing a krathong on the water signifies letting go of negativity and bad luck.
