[ThaiCham Webinar on September] “The readiness of ESG journey in Vietnam and experience from Thailand”

On 21 September 2022, the webinar “The readiness of ESG journey in Vietnam and experience from Thailand” was successfully held by KPMG in Vietnam, KPMG Thailand, and ThaiCham – Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam.

In the event, Mr Nguyen Chi Hieu – Director, Risk and ESG Consulting, KPMG in Vietnam – talked about ESG trends in 2022-2023, Vietnam’s policies and commitment in expediting sustainability development as well as presented a roadmap for ESG transformation for enterprises. Mr Natthaphong Tantichattanon – Partner, Climate Change and Sustainability, KPMG in Thailand – also shared some lessons learned from the ESG transformation journey of enterprises in Thailand. The speakers also answered questions from the audiences regarding steps in the ESG application process and sustainability reporting.
