INSEE VIETNAM SPONSORED AND HANDED OVER 11 “LOW-INCOME” HOUSES IN KIEN GIANG PROVINCE, SPREADING HUMANITARIAN VALUES TO THE COMMUNITY

Continuing its mission of “Build for Life,” INSEE Vietnam Cement Company has once again joined hands with partners and the local government of Kien Giang province to sponsor, construct, and hand over 11 “Low-income” houses to underprivileged families. This annual program reflects the ongoing commitment of INSEE and local authorities to improve the living conditions of local communities.

Among the 11 houses handed over in 2025, 6 were built through the collaboration of INSEE Vietnam, Nippon Paint (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., Kien Giang Radio & Television Station, and Kien Giang Newspaper. The collective effort of businesses and media organizations has created a positive value chain, offered not only material support but also spread the spirit of solidarity and compassion throughout society.

In addition, the remaining 5 houses were constructed under the local government’s “Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Housing” program, with INSEE Vietnam contributing VND 300 million in support. All houses are built to ensure safety, comfort, and suitability for local living conditions. The total investment for the 11 houses exceeds VND 900 million.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Ton Van Tan, representative of INSEE Hon Chong Cement Plant, shared: “We believe that a stable home is a fundamental foundation for families to feel secure, improve their livelihoods, and strive for a better future. INSEE Vietnam not only provides sustainable building material solutions but also wishes to directly contribute to improving the quality of life for local communities. Supporting the construction of Great Unity houses is one of our concrete efforts to demonstrate our long-term commitment to the community.”

Representatives of local authorities and the beneficiary families also expressed their deep gratitude for the timely support from businesses and partners. To them, the new homes are more than just shelters—they are a source of strength and motivation to keep moving forward in building better lives.

For over 30 years, INSEE Vietnam has continually affirmed its pioneering role in sustainable development through numerous practical initiatives centered around three pillars: economic growth, environmental protection, and community engagement. From educational and healthcare development projects to annual environmental protection programs, INSEE strives to deliver meaningful value to local communities, especially in the areas where we operate.
