On the occasion of Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s official visit to Hanoi from May 15 to 16 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, ThaiCham was honored to participate in a meeting on the afternoon of May 15 between the Prime Minister and Thai private sector representatives currently investing in Vietnam.
During the meeting, ThaiCham representatives presented an overview of Thai business and investment activities in Vietnam, along with brief insights into the Vietnam’s current economic landscape and relevant policies.
Prime Minister Paetongtarn expressed her sincere appreciation to the Thai private sector for playing a key role in strengthening Thailand–Vietnam relations at both the people-to-people and economic levels. She also praised ThaiCham as a key organization coordinating economic cooperation between the two countries at the private sector level.

On May 16th, Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra co-chaired the Vietnam – Thailand Business Forum 2025, themed “One Plus One on Three Connects,” with the aim of exploring opportunities for enhanced economic cooperation and connectivity between the two countries. The two Prime Ministers also witnessed the exchange of cooperation documents between Vietnamese and Thai businesses.
ThaiCham was honored to co-organize this significant forum alongside esteemed organizations including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Thai – Vietnamese Business Council, and the Thailand – Vietnam Friendship Association. Furthermore, representatives and members of ThaiCham had the honor of contributing as panelists on two key topics: “Co-Creating the Future — Supply Chain, Local Economy & Sustainability” and “Co-Creating the Digital Future for Three Connects,” highlighting areas for future collaboration.
