Central Retail Vietnam was crowned #1 in the Top 10 Reputable Companies in the Retail Industry in 2023

On October 26, 2023, at the Announcement Ceremony of the Top 10 Reputable Companies in the Food – Beverage – Retail – Packaging Industry in 2023 held at Sheraton Hotel (Hanoi), Central Retail Vietnam was honored by the Organizing Committee as the champion of the Top 10 prestigious companies in the Retail industry.

This is the third consecutive time Central Retail Vietnam – the Group that owns the retail brands GO!, Big C; Tops Market…, honored to win the top position in this prestigious ranking.

The results of the Top 10 Reputable Retail Companies in 2023 are evaluated based on independent and objective research results of Vietnam Report based on 3 main criteria: (1) Financial performance shown on the latest annual financial report (2) Media reputation assessed using the Media Coding method – (3) Survey of research subjects and relevant parties conducted in August 2023.

As shared by the Organizing Committee, one of the most important factors determining Central Retail’s leading position is the financial capacity shown in the most recent year’s financial report.

According to Central Retail Corporation (Thailand), by 2022, Central Retail Vietnam will achieve sales contributing 24% of Central Retail’s total revenue, becoming the largest international retailer in Vietnam, leading market share in the Hypermarket segment.

Central Retail in 2023 continues its strong expansion plan by consecutively opening 3 mini go! in Nhon Trach (Dong Nai), Dien Ban (Quang Nam) and Hoa Thanh (Tay Ninh); Launching new brand Come Home provide the finest and most comprehensive home furnishing solutions for the Vietnamese and groundbreaking for the GO! Mall project in Ha Nam.

As of the end of June 2023, Central Retail operates 77 food retail stores, including 38 GO! and 39 supermarkets under the brands Tops Market, mini go! and LanChi Mart.

Recognizing Vietnam as a key market, earlier this year Central Retail announced an investment worth 1.45 billion USD for the next 5 years of 2023 – 2027 and to double the number of stores to 600, across 57 out of 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam.
