Recently – in response to World Environment Day (June 5) and the Month of Action for the Environment, INSEE Vietnam joined hands with local authorities to organize the “Green Dong Nai Week” in Dinh Quan – Dong Nai, as well as the 3rd consecutive “Waste Exchange” program in Kien Giang Province, which attracted hundreds of local residents.
With a mission of sustainable development and being a pioneer in industrial waste management in Vietnam, INSEE continuously strives to accompany communities on the journey of environmental protection. At the “Green Dong Nai Week” event, the INSEE team brought a wide range of environmental communication and educational activities, including interactive games, waste sorting and recycling knowledge sharing, and the introduction of INSEE Ecocycle’s advanced waste treatment technology offered to customers. INSEE’s booth drew nearly 100 participants, creating a vibrant, friendly atmosphere filled with positive energy.
A key highlight of the program was the strong collaboration between INSEE – through the Ecocycle business unit – and the Dong Nai provincial government. Not only did INSEE receive great support in organizing the event, but it was also honored by local authorities for its meaningful contributions to environmental protection. This partnership demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to working alongside local governments to build a green, clean, beautiful, and sustainable community.
Not stopping in Dong Nai, on June 5, 2025, INSEE Hon Chong Cement Plant also collaborated with the Department of Agriculture & Environment of Kien Luong District and the People’s Committee of Kien Binh Commune (Kien Giang Province) to organize the 3rd consecutive “Waste Exchange” program in the area. Through the exchange of trash for essential items sponsored by INSEE, the program helped raise awareness of waste sorting at source, collecting 280kg of domestic waste (plastic bottles, plastic bags, paper, cartons…),

In addition, INSEE Vietnam is planning a tree-planting initiative in Kien Giang Province, with a commitment to sponsor 10,000 Melaleuca trees for the Phu My Species and Habitat Conservation Area. This is one of the long-term activities in INSEE’s action plan to achieve a Net Positive Impact on Biodiversity by 2030.
Through these recent environmental initiatives, INSEE Vietnam continues to affirm its pioneering role in promoting a circular economy, preserving natural resources, and creating sustainable value for the community. We believe that every small action – from community engagement, environmental awareness, to tree planting – contributes to significant changes for a greener future in Vietnam.
