CA MAU PROVINCE – THE PROMISED LAND OF INVESTMENT

Ca Mau is one of the four key economic hubs of the Mekong Delta with potential and strengths in maritime economic development, aquaculture and eco-tourism. The province has one of the largest fishing grounds in Vietnam. The province’s vast wetland area consisting of 100,000 hectares of typical Melaleuca and mangrove forest has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, promising opportunity for ecotourist development.

The provincial authority envisions that by 2045 Ca Mau will become a leading maritime economy in the Mekong Delta region.

To attract stronger domestic and international investment to the province, the provincial authority widely disseminates the province’s its long term development strategy and plans and carry promotional activities targeting local and international businesses, investors and local people. The province also encourages and engages businesses and local people in provincial planning process.
