On 8 June 2026, ThaiCham, together with members and representatives of the Thai business in Vietnam, met with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, during his official visit to Vietnam.

During the meeting, Thai private sector representatives exchanged views on trade, investment, and business opportunities in Vietnam. We also shared updates on our business operations and future investment plans across various industries, particularly in the energy, retail, and manufacturing sectors.

The discussion also covered ways to improve the business and investment environment, including investment facilitation, infrastructure development, administrative reforms, energy security, and Vietnam’s growing economic role in the region.

The Prime Minister welcomed the views and recommendations from the private sector and affirmed that the issues raised would be further considered in coordination with relevant agencies. These efforts aim to better support Thai businesses operating overseas and further strengthen the sustainable growth of economic cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam.
