On the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (1976-2023) and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership (2013-2023), the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The Thai Embassy in Vietnam held the Conference “Meet Thailand – 1″st Meet Thailand” from August 3 to August 4 in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province.
The conference was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam; Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (ThaiCham), organizations, agencies, about 40 Thai corporations and businesses in Vietnam as well as businesses from Thailand, and the delegation of the 5 Thai local government committee Lan (Mukdahan, Ubon Ratchathani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen).
As representatives of Thai’s leading industrial cities developer, Amata VN PCL has presented at the conference in such active main role from key sharings based on nearly 30 years of experience in Vietnam.
Within the framework of the Conference, beside the Organizing the display and promotion of images of culture, tourism, investment promotion and typical products of Vietnam and Thailand, the highlight was the session “Meet Thailand” to discuss 2 topics “Renewable energy and high-tech agriculture” and “Supply chain integration on the East-West Economic Corridor”.
In session 2 about supply chain integration, Ms. Somhatai Panichewa – CEO of Amata VN PCL made an impressive and concise presentation about Amata group, focus on the importance of industrial park projects connecting logistic line from Thailand to Vietnam and within the region. Amata VN’s CEO has pointed out the key winning point from the investment environment and infrastructure, in which the improvement of smart infrastructure construction, supply chain, and logistics is the driving force for effective cooperation and investment attraction.
Besides many successful projects in North and South, Amata also joined in hands with two partners VSIP – Sumitomo in a consortium project to develop Quang Tri Industrial Park since 2021 on 481.2 hectares. This project has been considered as one of the key development supports for the province with high attention from top provincial leaders throughout courtesy discussions with Amata delegation in 2 days of the event.
