Information about Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) 2024 Program

Following the Government’s direction at the Announcement 398/TB-VPCP dated Dec 15, 2015, the VCCI has organized the Program on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Companies in Vietnam since 2016. The Program aims at looking for and honoring sustainable companies, thereby praising and promoting the business community to implement sustainable development generally and sustainable corporate governance particularly.

Entering its 9th consecutive year, the CSI 2024 Program is led by the VCCI with the partnership of Central Economic Commission, Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.

Participating companies’ sustainability will be benchmarked based on the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI). The CSI 2024 includes 153 indicators reflecting latest updated issues on governance, environment, labour-society to which companies operating in Vietnam need to pay attention.

All information provided by participating companies will be kept CONFIDENTIAL. Application deadline is August 16, 2024.

The Announcing Ceremony of Sustainable Companies in Vietnam 2024 will tentatively be organized solemnly in Hanoi on November 29th.

To facilitate companies’ participation in the Program, VBCSD-VCCI will organize training sessions on “CSI Program and interested issues in sustainable corporate governance”.

Details are as below:
– Training session in HCMC: 8h30 – 11h30, Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Guest House 165 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Dist. 3, HCMC
– Training session in Hanoi: 8h30 – 11h30, Friday, July 19, 2024 at Hall 1, 7th Flr., VCCI Building, No.9 Dao Duy Anh, Hanoi

Expected attendees: executives in charge of sustainable development, compliance at companies, relating business chambers/ associations staff.
